With the end of term coming up we spent a little time tonight tidying up some badge areas, but first a new game to start the night, Giant Air Hockey:
Everyone enjoyed, and by some miracle the floating puck didn’t get broken!
Afterwards one Scout gave us a talk on the history of sewing and showed some pencil cases and bags for joeys she has been sewing for her craft badge.
We followed this with a discussion on cramps and how people get them and what you can do to get rid of one. Then moving on to discussing emergency equipment needed around swimming pools and when out boating.
Lastly we practised the recovery position and DRSABCD, which the Scouts will be showing the Cubs on Thursday.
