Lovely cool weather today, perfect for a hike around Coombabah Lakelands Conservation Area, which is a good thing as that’st just what one of our Cub Scout had planned for us today.
We started the walk on Myola Court, and followed around the boardwalks and in to the Lakelands on the route shown above.
Once in to the Lakelands there were several choices of path to be made, luckily our lead Cub Scout knew where he was going and took us down the right path.
After about an hour, and roughly halfway, we stopped for a sit down and a small snack.
Before carrying on around our wetland loop.
During the last 30 minutes a few of the Cub Scouts were starting to get tired, but we could see the finish line already and that kept everyone moving.
Great job from everyone, about 9km in 2.5 hours!
