The last few days we have seen lots storms and rain so we were a little bit worried about today’s Grey Wolf hike, however when we awoke at 6am there was no rain and the radar looked pretty clear so it was go go go!
The walk itself was down at the Spit on the Gold Coast:

We started up at the car park, 5 on the map, and were taken on a very nice walk south to Philip park and back up again on a different route. As there was a threat of rain coming in it was decided to only have a short break at the halfway point and reserve the proper break for the end of the walk, where there just happened to be an ice-cream shop too. We made it back with only a few drops of rain here and there, so it all worked out perfectly.
You can relive the walk in the video above, sorry I added the wrong data to the file… that’s what happens when you hike before having your morning coffee. Actual hike was on the 16th March.
Now because everybody on this hike was also on the previous Grey Wolf hike you will all have earned your 10km hike badges now too!
Thanks to everybody who came along and helped our lead Cub Scout to complete this part of his Grey Wolf challenge.
